It has been an odd few weeks and for the first time in my 10 years of playing Warcraft I am genuinely bored. I’m not saying there aren’t things to do in-game, there are. It is just I can’t think of a good enough reason to log in and farm more mounts, pets, transmog sets/pieces, level my last few Horde characters to 100. Sure the lack of NEW content is a factor but that has happened every expansion since Wrath so it isn’t THE reason. Warlords has done something to me that no previous expansion has before, it has left me with hardly anyone to play with.
Now I’ll admit part of that problem is me and the way I have managed my guild and raid team, so things need to change and I am working on that but it isn’t easy when my ‘get up and go’ has ‘got up and gone’.
So my dear friends, what is the answer? I have a plan, one that may bear no fruit, but I need to go and perform some good old-fashioned research, for without that I cannot move forwards. Thankfully the extended run out of this expansion may just buy me the time I need to save my guild as I’d hate to lose that on top of my raid team and I know that the decision to abandon mythic will lose me some of the better raiders that are in Exhumed of Shadowsong/Aszune EU as well as other raiders that are, shall we say, expendable.
The next month will be huge as in this time I must discover the mojo that I have misplaced or I fear I’ll end up on the list of ex-WoW players.
